The SMA6T22AY is a unidirectional Zener TVS diode designed for overvoltage transient protection in automotive applications. It has a reverse standoff voltage (VRWM) of 18.8 V and a maximum clamping voltage (VC) of 39.3 V. The device can handle peak pulse current (IPP) up to 102 A (8/20 µs waveform) and delivers 600 W of peak pulse power (PPP) dissipation.
This diode is housed in a surface-mount DO-214AC (SMA) package, making it suitable for automated assembly processes. The operating junction temperature range is -40°C to 150°C, supporting harsh automotive thermal environments. It is designed for single-channel unidirectional operation and does not include power line protection.
