The SMA6J7.5A-E3/5A is a unidirectional Zener TVS diode from Vishay General Semiconductor, designed for general purpose transient voltage suppression. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 7.5V and a minimum breakdown voltage of 8.33V. The device clamps at a maximum of 17V under peak pulse current conditions.
With a peak pulse power rating of 4000W (4kW) and a peak pulse current of 235A (8/20µs waveform), this diode provides robust protection against voltage transients. It is not intended for power line protection and is suited for general purpose applications.
