The SMA6J5.0A-TR is a unidirectional TVS diode from STMicroelectronics designed to protect sensitive electronics from voltage transients. It offers a peak pulse power of 600W (8/20µs) with a clamping voltage of 13.4V at a peak pulse current of 298A (8/20µs). The reverse standoff voltage is 5V, making it suitable for low-voltage power rail protection. This device features a Zener breakdown mechanism for fast response.
