The SMA6J28A-TR is a 600W unidirectional TVS diode from STMicroelectronics designed for general purpose circuit protection. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 28V and a clamping voltage of 51.6V, providing robust transient voltage suppression.
This device can handle peak pulse currents up to 68A (8/20µs pulse) and operates over a wide temperature range of -55°C to 175°C. It is housed in a compact DO-214AC (SMA) surface mount package, suitable for automated assembly.
