SM712-02HTG

The SM712-02HTG is a 600W asymmetrical TVS diode array from Littelfuse's SPA family. It is designed to protect RS-485 applications with asymmetrical working voltages (-7V to 12V) from ESD, EFT, and lightning surges. The device can absorb repetitive ESD strikes above IEC 61000-4-2 level (±30kV contact, ±30kV air) and safely dissipate up to 19A of 8/20µs surge current with low clamping voltages. Key electrical specifications include a reverse standoff voltage of 7.0V (Pin 3 to Pin 1/2) and 12.0V (Pin 1/2 to Pin 3), breakdown voltages of 7.5V and 13.3V respectively, and clamping voltages of 11V, 19V, and 31V depending on current direction and pulse level. The device offers a maximum peak pulse power of 600W and a peak pulse current of 19A with 8/20µs pulse. Leakage current is 20µA maximum at 7V and 1µA at 12V. Capacitance is 75pF at 1MHz. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 125°C. The SM712-02HTG is AEC-Q101 qualified for automotive applications and is RoHS compliant and lead-free. It comes in a SOT-23-3 surface mount package with MSL-1 moisture sensitivity level.
