The SM6T36A is a unidirectional Zener TVS diode designed for general-purpose transient voltage suppression. It offers a reverse standoff voltage of 30.8V and a minimum breakdown voltage of 34.2V, clamping transients at a maximum of 64.3V. The device can handle peak pulse currents up to 62A under an 8/20µs waveform, with a peak pulse power rating of 600W.
This TVS diode is intended for surface-mount assembly in the DO-214AA (SMB) package, supporting a wide operating temperature range from -55°C to 150°C. It is not designed for power line protection, making it suitable for signal line and low-voltage DC bus protection in general-purpose electronic circuits.
