The SM6T18A is a 600W unidirectional Zener TVS diode designed for general-purpose transient voltage suppression. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 15.3V and a clamping voltage of 32.5V at a peak pulse current of 123A (8/20 µs waveform). The device is housed in a surface-mount SMB (DO-214AA) package, suitable for automated assembly.
This TVS diode provides protection against voltage transients in a wide range of electronic circuits. With an operating temperature range of -55°C to 150°C, it is suitable for demanding environments. The Zener diode technology ensures fast response to overvoltage events.
The SM6T18A is intended for general-purpose applications where unidirectional protection is required. It is not designed for power line protection. The part is RoHS3 compliant, REACH unaffected, and has an MSL rating of 1 (unlimited).
