The SM6T150CA is a bidirectional Zener TVS diode from STMicroelectronics designed for general purpose transient voltage suppression. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 128V and a maximum clamping voltage of 265V at the peak pulse current of 15A (8/20µs waveform). The device is rated for 600W peak pulse power dissipation.
This TVS diode is intended for surface mount assembly in a DO-214AA (SMB) package. It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 150°C. The bidirectional configuration allows protection of circuits where the signal can swing both positive and negative relative to ground.
