The SM6T10CA is a 600W bidirectional Zener TVS diode designed for general purpose circuit protection. It offers a reverse standoff voltage of 8.55V and a minimum breakdown voltage of 9.5V. The device clamps transient overvoltages to a maximum of 18.6V at a peak pulse current of 215A (8/20µs waveform). This TVS diode is not intended for power line protection. It is housed in a DO-214AA (SMB) surface mount package and operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 150°C. The SM6T10CA is suitable for protecting sensitive electronics from voltage transients in a variety of applications.
