The SM6T100CA is a Zener-based bidirectional TVS diode manufactured by STMicroelectronics. It provides transient voltage suppression with a reverse standoff voltage of 85.5V and a clamping voltage of 178V. The device can handle peak pulse currents up to 22.5A (8/20µs waveform) and a peak pulse power dissipation of 600W. It has a single bidirectional channel and is intended for general purpose applications where power line protection is not required.
Housed in a DO-214AA (SMB) surface mount package, this TVS diode operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 150°C (junction). The surface mount design allows for automated assembly in compact electronic systems. The device is RoHS3 compliant and REACH unaffected (unverified).
