The SM6F24AY is a 24V unidirectional Zener TVS diode designed by STMicroelectronics for transient voltage suppression. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 24V, clamping voltage of 50V at 80A peak pulse current (8/20µs waveform), and a peak pulse power rating of 600W. This component is rated for automotive applications, with an operating temperature range of -55°C to 175°C. Housed in a surface-mount SOD-128 (SOD128Flat) package, it is suitable for automated assembly and space-constrained designs.
The device uses Zener avalanche technology to provide overvoltage protection for sensitive electronics.
