The Vishay Dale SM5S24A-E3/2D is a surface mount Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diode designed for high reliability and automotive requirements. It features a junction passivation optimized design and a high temperature stability with a TJ of 175°C capability.
This device offers a peak pulse power dissipation of 3600W (10/1000 μs waveform) and a peak forward surge current of 500A. The operating junction and storage temperature range is -55°C to +175°C. It is available in uni-directional polarity only, with the heatsink serving as the anode.
