The SM4007 is a standard recovery rectifier diode from Diotec Semiconductor, designed for general purpose rectification in power supplies and polarity protection circuits. It offers a repetitive peak reverse voltage (VRRM) of 1000V and an average forward rectified current (IFAV) of 1A at 75°C, derating to 0.8A at 100°C.
Key electrical characteristics include a maximum forward voltage of less than 1.1V at 1A and 25°C, a typical reverse recovery time of 1500 ns, and a peak forward surge current capability of 40A (50 Hz) or 44A (60 Hz).
