The SM4002 is a standard recovery rectifier diode designed for general-purpose rectification in 50/60 Hz mains applications. It features a repetitive peak reverse voltage of 100V and an average forward rectified current of 1A at 75°C. The forward voltage is typically 1.1V at 1A, and the reverse recovery time is 1500ns. The diode can handle peak forward surge currents up to 44A (60Hz) and 40A (50Hz). It is housed in a surface-mount MELF DO-213AB package with UL 94V-0 case material and weighs approximately 0.12g. The device is RoHS, REACH, and Conflict Minerals compliant, with an MSL of 1. Typical applications include mains rectification, power supplies, and polarity protection circuits.
