SM36T1G

The SM36T1G is a dual common anode ESD protection diode array from On Semiconductor. It is designed for transient overvoltage protection in voltage and ESD sensitive equipment. Key electrical specifications include a working peak reverse voltage of 36V, a clamping voltage of 60V at 4A peak pulse current (8/20µs waveform), and a peak power dissipation of 300W. The device features low leakage current of 1µA and provides robust ESD protection with ±15kV air discharge and ±26kV contact discharge per IEC 61000-4-2, as well as EFT protection of 40A and lightning protection of 12A per IEC 61000-4-5.

The SM36T1G is housed in a compact SOT-23-3 surface mount package (also known as TO-236-3 or SC-59), making it suitable for high-density board designs. The package is Pb-Free and the device is RoHS compliant. It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 150°C and has a flammability rating of UL 94 V-0. The dual common anode configuration allows protection of two separate lines in a single package, ideal for applications where board space is at a premium.
