The Microchip Technology SM1605/TR13 is a 16-pin Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) Diode Array designed for robust board-level protection against voltage transients. It features a peak pulse power rating of 300 watts for an 8/20 μsec pulse, making it suitable for safeguarding sensitive components like DRAMs, SRAMs, and low-voltage interfaces.
This TVS array provides protection for 3.0/3.3V up to 24V components and can handle 8 lines, offering either unidirectional or bidirectional protection. With a standoff voltage of 5V and a clamping voltage of 11V at 1A, it effectively suppresses electrostatic discharge (ESD) and electrical fast transients (EFT).
