The Vishay Dale SM15T36CA-E3/57T is a surface mount Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diode housed in a DO-214AB (SMC) package. This device is designed to protect sensitive electronics against voltage transients induced by inductive load switching and lighting.
Key electrical characteristics include a working voltage of 30.8V, a breakdown voltage of 36V, and a clamping voltage of 49.9V. It provides 1500W of peak pulse power capability with a 10/1000 μs waveform and can handle a surge current of 200A (unidirectional only).
The operating temperature range is from -65°C to 150°C (TJ). The diode is suitable for automated placement and features a glass passivated chip junction. It is available in both unidirectional and bidirectional configurations.
