The SM15T36A is a unidirectional TVS diode designed by STMicroelectronics for general purpose circuit protection. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 30.8V and a typical breakdown voltage of 64.3V, clamping transients at 64.3V maximum. With a peak pulse power rating of 1500W (1.5kW) and a peak current capability of 156A (8/20µs), it provides robust protection against voltage transients.
The device is surface mountable in a DO-214AB (SMC) package and operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 150°C. It is not intended for power line protection. The SM15T36A is suitable for use in a variety of electronic systems requiring reliable transient voltage suppression.
