The SM15T33A is a unidirectional Zener TVS diode designed for general-purpose transient voltage suppression. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 28.2V and a maximum clamping voltage of 59V at a peak pulse current of 169A (8/20µs waveform). The device can handle 1500W of peak pulse power, making it suitable for protecting sensitive electronics from voltage transients.
This TVS diode is housed in a surface-mount DO-214AB (SMC) package, which is compatible with standard reflow soldering processes. It operates over a wide temperature range of -55°C to 150°C. The part does not include power line protection features and is intended for general-purpose circuit protection applications.
