The SM15T30CA-E3/57T is a bidirectional transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode from Vishay General Semiconductor, part of the SM15T series. It is designed to protect sensitive electronics from voltage transients induced by inductive load switching and lightning, with a peak pulse power rating of 1500W (10/1000μs waveform).
The device features a reverse standoff voltage of 25.6V and a clamping voltage of 41.5V, with a peak pulse current capability of 36A. It uses a glass passivated chip junction and is housed in a surface-mount DO-214AB (SMC) package with matte tin termination finish.
This TVS diode is suitable for general-purpose applications in consumer, computer, industrial, automotive, and telecommunication systems. It is RoHS3 compliant and meets MSL level 1 per J-STD-020.
