The Vishay Dale SM15T15A-E3/57T is a surface mount Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diode from the SM15T series. It is designed for general-purpose applications requiring protection against voltage transients.
This device features a peak pulse power capability of 1500W with a 10/1000 μs waveform. It offers excellent clamping capability and low inductance. The operating temperature range is -65°C to 150°C (TJ).
Key electrical characteristics include a breakdown voltage ranging from 6.8V to 220V and a clamping voltage of 21.2V at a peak current of 71A. The reverse standoff voltage ranges from 5.8V to 188V.
The TVS diode is housed in a DO-214AB (SMC) package, making it ideal for automated placement on printed circuit boards. The molding compound meets UL 94 V-0 flammability rating.
