The SM15T100CA is a bidirectional TVS diode designed to protect sensitive electronic circuits from voltage transients. It offers a reverse standoff voltage of 85.5V and a maximum clamping voltage of 178V at peak pulse current.
With a peak pulse power rating of 1500W (1.5kW) per 8/20µs waveform and a peak pulse current capability of 56A, this device provides robust transient protection for various electronic systems. The bidirectional configuration makes it suitable for protecting AC signal lines or DC lines without polarity constraints.
This TVS diode is housed in a DO-214AB (SMC) surface mount package, supporting an operating temperature range of -55°C to +150°C. The SMC package allows for efficient heat dissipation and compatibility with standard SMT assembly processes.
