The SM15T100A is a 1500W unidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode manufactured by STMicroelectronics. It is designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient voltage events.
This device features an 85.5V reverse standoff voltage and a minimum breakdown voltage of 95V. It can clamp transient voltages up to 178V at a peak pulse current of 56A (8/20µs waveform).
