The Littelfuse SLD30U-017 is a unidirectional Zener TVS diode designed for overvoltage protection in automotive and high-reliability applications. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 30V and a clamping voltage of 48.4V at a peak pulse current of 105.4A. The device is rated for 5000W peak pulse power dissipation under a 10/1000µs waveform and 2200W under a 10/150ms waveform, making it suitable for load dump and inductive switching transients.
This TVS diode is AEC-Q101 qualified and operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 175°C. It offers fast response time of less than 1.0ps and low incremental surge resistance. The glass passivated chip junction is housed in a P600 axial leaded package with matte tin termination finish, and the device is halogen free and RoHS compliant.
The SLD30U-017 is ideal for protecting sensitive electronics from alternator load dump, inductive load switching, and ESD events per IEC 61000-4-2. Its through-hole mounting and robust P600 package ensure reliable performance in demanding environments.
