The SLD22U-017 is a unidirectional Zener TVS diode from Littelfuse designed for overvoltage protection in high-reliability and automotive applications. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 22V and a maximum clamping voltage of 35.5V at a peak pulse current of 143.7A (10/1000μs waveform). The device can handle 5000W peak pulse power under the 10/1000μs waveform and 2200W under the 10/150ms waveform, meeting ISO7637 and ISO16750 load dump requirements.
This TVS diode is AEC-Q101 qualified with an operating temperature range of -55°C to 175°C. It offers fast response time typically less than 1ps from 0V to VBR min. The forward voltage is 3.5V maximum at 100A, and the peak forward surge current is 600A (8.3ms single half sine wave). The device is packaged in a P600 axial leaded package with through-hole mounting and matte tin lead-free plating.
The SLD22U-017 is RoHS3 compliant and halogen free, with UL recognized case material meeting flammability rating V-0. It is suitable for protecting sensitive electronics from inductive load switching and alternator load dump transients.
