The SLD13-018 is a bidirectional Zener TVS diode designed for overvoltage protection in automotive and high-reliability applications. It offers a reverse standoff voltage of 13V and a maximum clamping voltage of 21.5V at a peak pulse current of 237.2A. The device is capable of handling 5000W of peak pulse power for a 10/1000µs waveform and 2200W for a 10/150ms waveform, making it suitable for load dump and inductive load switching transients.
The SLD13-018 is AEC-Q101 qualified and meets ISO7637 and ISO16750 load dump tests. It features a glass passivated chip junction in a P600 axial leaded package, with through-hole mounting. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 175°C, and it has a low thermal resistance of 8.0°C/W junction-to-lead and 40°C/W junction-to-ambient.
The device is RoHS compliant, halogen free, and has a Pb-free E3 matte tin finish. It is UL recognized with flammability rating V-0. The SLD13-018 is ideal for protecting sensitive electronics from voltage transients in automotive, industrial, and consumer applications.
