The Skyworks Solutions SKY85711-21 is a 5 GHz WLAN Front-End Module designed for mobile and portable 802.11ac multimedia, networking, and personal computing systems. This highly integrated module incorporates a 5 GHz power amplifier (PA), a low-noise amplifier (LNA) with bypass functionality, and a single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) transmit/receive (T/R) switch.
Key electrical specifications include a transmit gain of 27 dB and a receive gain of 12 dB. The output power can reach +19 dBm at 1.8% EVM for HT80, MCS9, 5V operation, and +20 dBm at 3% EVM for HT40, MCS7, 5V operation.
