The SKL16 from Diotec Semiconductor is a Schottky barrier rectifier diode designed for low voltage, high efficiency applications. With a repetitive peak reverse voltage of 60V and an average forward current of 1A, it is suitable for output rectification in DC/DC converters, polarity protection, and freewheeling diodes. The device features a low forward voltage drop of 0.7V at 1A, reducing power dissipation, and a fast recovery time suitable for high-frequency switching. It is housed in a compact SOD-123F (SMF) surface mount package, enabling space-saving PCB designs. The diode is RoHS compliant, REACH compliant, and halogen-free, meeting environmental standards. The operating junction temperature range is -50°C to 150°C, with an MSL level of 1 for unlimited moisture sensitivity. The part is supplied in tape and reel packaging with 3000 units per reel, suitable for automated assembly.
