The Vishay Dale SIP4282ADVP-3-E3 is a slew rate controlled high-side load switch featuring a P-channel MOSFET. It supports continuous output currents up to 1.4A and operates within an input voltage range of 1.5V to 5.5V. The device offers features such as load discharge and slew rate control, making it suitable for applications requiring controlled power-up and safe capacitive load discharge.
This load switch is available in a compact PowerPAK® SC-75-6L surface-mount package. It operates over a junction temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. The low quiescent current and low shutdown current make it a good choice for battery-powered devices. The interface is controlled via an On/Off signal.
Key electrical characteristics include a typical Rds On of 350mOhm. The SiP4282 series offers options for slew rates of 100 µs and 1 ms. The "A" option extends the minimum operation voltage down to 1.5V, while the standard SiP4282 has an input voltage range from 1.8V to 5.5V and includes under-voltage lockout (UVLO) at 1.4V.
