SI7022-A20-IM1R

The Si7022-A20-IM1R from Silicon Labs is a monolithic CMOS IC integrating humidity and temperature sensor elements with an analog-to-digital converter and signal processing. It features a PWM output that can be filtered to produce an analog voltage output. This sensor is factory-calibrated, ensuring interchangeability without recalibration.

Key specifications include a precision relative humidity sensor with ±4% RH maximum accuracy over a 0-80% RH range, and a high-accuracy temperature sensor with ±0.4°C maximum accuracy from -10°C to 85°C. The device operates over a wide temperature range of -40°C to +125°C and a humidity range of 0 to 100% RH. It operates from a wide supply voltage of 1.9V to 3.6V and consumes low power.

The Si7022-A20-IM1R is available in a 3x3 mm DFN package and is reflow solderable. It is designed as a drop-in upgrade for existing RH/temperature sensors in similar packages, offering precision sensing and lower power consumption. An optional factory-installed cover can protect the sensor during assembly and use, excluding liquids and particulates.

This sensor is ideal for applications such as HVAC/R, thermostats, respiratory therapy, white goods, indoor weather stations, micro-environments, automotive climate control, and asset tracking.
