The Si7006-A20-IMR from Silicon Labs is a monolithic CMOS IC integrating humidity and temperature sensor elements with an I2C interface. It provides precision sensing over a wide operating range of 0 to 100% RH and -40 to +125°C.
This sensor features factory-calibrated data stored on-chip, ensuring interchangeability without recalibration. It operates from 1.9V to 3.6V and consumes low power, with 150 µA active current and 60 nA standby current. The sensor outputs 12-bit data for both humidity and temperature.
Available in a compact 3x3 mm DFN package, the Si7006-A20-IMR is suitable for surface mount applications. It can be used as a drop-in upgrade for existing RH/temperature sensors in similar packages, offering improved precision and lower power consumption. An optional factory-installed cover can protect the sensor from liquids and particulates.
Applications include HVAC/R, thermostats, white goods, industrial platforms, and asset tracking.
