The Skyworks Solutions SI5350A-B07878-GMR is a highly flexible, user-definable clock generator designed to replace crystals and oscillators in cost-sensitive applications. Utilizing a MultiSynth architecture with a PLL and high-resolution fractional divider, it can generate any frequency from 2.5 kHz to 200 MHz on each output with 0 ppm error. Spread spectrum modulation is selectable on each output.
This device supports user-configurable control pins for output enable, power down, frequency select, and spread spectrum enable. It operates from a low-cost 25 or 27 MHz crystal and offers separate voltage supply pins for core (1.8 V, 2.5 V, or 3.3 V) and output (1.8 V, 2.5 V, or 3.3 V) for level translation. The SI5350A-B07878-GMR is compatible with PCIe Gen 1 and supports HCSL jitter compatible swing.
Available in a 20-QFN (4x4 mm) package, this clock generator is suitable for surface mounting.
