The Skyworks Solutions SI5345B-D07908-GM is a versatile clock multiplier and jitter attenuator designed for applications requiring high jitter performance. It utilizes fourth-generation DSPLL™ and MultiSynth™ technologies to generate any frequency from any input frequency.
Key electrical specifications include an ultra-low jitter of 90 fs rms. The device supports input frequencies ranging from 8 kHz to 750 MHz (differential) and 8 kHz to 250 MHz (LVCMOS). Output frequencies can be generated from 100 Hz to 1028 MHz (differential) and 100 Hz to 250 MHz (LVCMOS). It also features a programmable jitter attenuation bandwidth from 0.1 Hz to 4 kHz.
This clock multiplier is compatible with LVDS, LVPECL, LVCMOS, CML, and HCSL output types, with programmable signal amplitude. It has 4 input clocks and up to 10 output clocks. The device is programmable via a serial interface with in-circuit programmable non-volatile memory (NVM).
Packaged in a 64-QFN (9x9 mm) with an exposed pad, the SI5345B-D07908-GM is designed for surface mount applications. It supports free-run, synchronous, and holdover modes of operation, and offers automatic and manual input clock switching.
