The Skyworks Solutions SI5341B-D08893-GM is a versatile, high-performance clock generator featuring proprietary MultiSynth™ fractional synthesizer technology. This device is capable of synthesizing a wide range of integer and non-integer related frequencies up to 1 GHz on up to 10 differential clock outputs, while delivering ultra-low phase jitter of 90 fs rms.

Each clock output can be assigned its own format and output voltage, making the Si5341/40 a true "clock tree on a chip." It supports output types including LVDS, LVPECL, LVCMOS, CML, and HCSL with programmable signal amplitude. Input frequency ranges include 25 to 54 MHz for external crystals, 10 to 750 MHz for differential clocks, and 10 to 250 MHz for LVCMOS clocks.

This clock generator is ideal for applications such as clock tree generation, replacing oscillators and buffers, any-frequency clock translation, and clocking for FPGAs, processors, and memory. It can be programmed via I2C and SPI serial interfaces or configured using ClockBuilderPro software.

The Si5341 variant is available in a 64-QFN package measuring 9x9 mm, while the Si5340 is in a 44-QFN package measuring 7x7 mm. Mounting is typically surface mount.
