The Skyworks Solutions SI5341B-D08185-GM is a versatile clock generator featuring proprietary MultiSynth™ fractional synthesizer technology. It is capable of synthesizing a wide range of frequencies up to 1028 MHz on its differential outputs, while delivering ultra-low phase jitter of 90 fs rms.
This device supports multiple input frequency ranges, including external crystals (25-54 MHz), differential clocks (10-750 MHz), and LVCMOS clocks (10-250 MHz). The outputs are highly configurable and compatible with LVDS, LVPECL, LVCMOS, CML, and HCSL standards, with programmable signal amplitude. Each output can be assigned its own format and output voltage, enabling it to replace multiple clock ICs and oscillators.
The Si5341/40 series is designed for applications such as clock tree generation, any-frequency clock translation, and clocking for FPGAs, processors, and memory. It can be programmed via I2C and SPI serial interfaces or pre-programmed using ClockBuilderPro software.
The SI5341B-D08185-GM is available in a 64-QFN package and is suitable for surface mount applications. It offers an optional zero-delay mode and can lock to gapped clock inputs.
