The Skyworks Solutions SI5341A-D10193-GM is a versatile, high-performance clock generator designed for clock tree generation, frequency translation, and clocking applications for FPGAs, processors, and memory.
This device features proprietary MultiSynth™ fractional synthesizer technology, enabling it to generate any combination of output frequencies from any input frequency. It boasts ultra-low jitter of 90 fs rms. The input frequency range spans from 25 to 54 MHz for external crystals, 10 to 750 MHz for differential clocks, and 10 to 250 MHz for LVCMOS clocks. The output frequency range is extensive, covering 100 Hz to 1028 MHz for differential outputs and 100 Hz to 250 MHz for LVCMOS outputs.
With highly configurable outputs compatible with LVDS, LVPECL, LVCMOS, CML, and HCSL, and programmable signal amplitude, the Si5341/40 can replace multiple clock ICs and oscillators. It is available in a 64-QFN package measuring 9x9 mm and supports surface mount mounting.
Configuration can be easily achieved using ClockBuilderPro software, or through I2C and SPI serial interfaces. This makes it a true "clock tree on a chip" solution for various electronic systems.
