SI5338A-B09046-GM

The Skyworks Solutions SI5338A-B09046-GM is a high-performance, low-jitter clock generator featuring patented MultiSynth™ technology. This device can synthesize any frequency on each of its four output drivers, capable of replacing multiple crystal oscillators or acting as a frequency translator.

Key electrical specifications include a low phase jitter of 0.7 ps RMS typical and true zero ppm frequency accuracy on all outputs. The device supports flexible input references ranging from 8 MHz to 710 MHz depending on the interface type (crystal, CMOS, SSTL/HSTL, differential). Output frequencies are configurable for various formats including LVPECL/LVDS (0.16 to 710 MHz), HCSL (0.16 to 250 MHz), CMOS (0.16 to 200 MHz), and SSTL/HSTL (0.16 to 350 MHz).

This clock generator operates from a 1.8, 2.5, or 3.3 V core supply with independent output voltage configuration per driver (1.5, 1.8, 2.5, or 3.3 V). It also offers highly configurable spread spectrum modulation and independent phase adjustment on each output driver.

The SI5338A-B09046-GM is supplied in a compact 4 x 4 mm, 24-QFN package suitable for surface mounting. It operates within a wide temperature range of -40 to +85 °C.
