SI5326C-C-GMR

The Skyworks Solutions SI5326C-C-GMR is a jitter-attenuating precision clock multiplier designed for applications requiring sub-picosecond jitter performance. This device accepts two input clocks ranging from 2 kHz to 710 MHz and generates two output clocks ranging from 2 kHz to 945 MHz, with select frequencies up to 1.4 GHz. The outputs are divided down separately from a common source.

Based on Skyworks Solutions' 3rd-generation DSPLL technology, the Si5326 offers frequency synthesis and jitter attenuation without external VCXO and loop filter components. The digitally programmable loop bandwidth allows for application-level jitter performance optimization. It operates from a single 1.8, 2.5, or 3.3 V supply, making it suitable for high-performance timing applications.

Key electrical specifications include an operating frequency of 346 MHz, an input signal type supporting LVCMOS, LVDS, LVPECL, and Crystal, and an output signal type supporting CML, LVCMOS, LVDS, and LVPECL. It features a frequency ratio of 3:2 and is equipped with a PLL. The device meets OC-192 GR-253-CORE jitter specifications and offers ultra-low jitter clock outputs as low as 0.3 ps rms.

The SI5326C-C-GMR is available in a 36-QFN (6x6) package, surface mounted. It operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. The device is RoHS3 compliant and has an MSL rating of 1 Unlimited.
