The Skyworks Solutions SI5326C-B-GM is a precision clock multiplier and jitter attenuator designed for applications requiring sub-1 ps jitter performance. It accepts input clocks ranging from 2 kHz to 710 MHz and generates output clocks from 2 kHz to 945 MHz, with select frequencies up to 1.4 GHz.
This device utilizes Skyworks' 3rd-generation DSPLL technology, integrating frequency synthesis and jitter attenuation without external VCXO and loop filter components. The digitally programmable loop bandwidth allows for application-level jitter performance optimization. It operates from a single 1.8V, 2.5V, or 3.3V supply.
Key features include ultra-low jitter clock outputs as low as 0.3 ps rms, an integrated loop filter with selectable bandwidth, and dual clock inputs with hitless switching. The SI5326C-B-GM meets OC-192 GR-253-CORE jitter specifications and supports various output formats including CML, LVCMOS, LVDS, and LVPECL.
Packaged in a 36-QFN (6x6 mm) with an exposed pad, this component is suitable for surface mounting. It operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
