The Skyworks Solutions SI5320-H-GL is a precision clock multiplier IC designed to meet the demanding requirements of high-speed communication systems, including OC-192/OC-48 and 10 GbE applications. This device utilizes DSPLL™ technology to provide all PLL functionality with exceptional performance, eliminating the need for external loop filter components.
It phase locks to an input clock in various ranges and generates a frequency-multiplied clock output configurable for operation in the 19, 155, or 622 MHz range. The SI5320-H-GL supports forward and reverse FEC clock scaling with selectable ratios. It offers ultra-low jitter clock output as low as 0.3 ps RMS, digital hold for loss of input clock, and a loss-of-signal alarm output.
This clock multiplier operates from a single 3.3 V supply and features selectable loop bandwidth. It is housed in a compact 63-PBGA (9x9 mm) package, suitable for surface mount applications. The operating temperature range is -20°C to 85°C.
