SI32282-A-GMR

The Si3228x Dual ProSLIC devices from Skyworks Solutions offer two complete foreign exchange station (FXS) telephony interfaces within a single package. These devices operate from a 3.3V supply and support standard PCM/SPI or 3-wire ISI digital interfaces. They are designed for efficient operation with built-in DC-DC converter controllers that automatically generate optimal battery voltage, minimizing heat generation.

The Si3228x devices are suitable for various applications including VoIP gateways, xDSL IADs, Optical Network Terminals (ONT/U), Analog Terminal Adapters (ATA), and Cable eMTAs. They feature wideband audio for enhanced voice quality, DTMF detection, and Smart Ringing technology which reduces peak current for lower-cost AC-DC adapters. The devices facilitate self-testing and metallic loop testing (MLT) through integrated DSP, monitor ADC, and test load.

Available in a 7x7 mm 48-pin QFN or an 8x8 mm 56-pin QFN package, the Si32282-A-GMR is designed for surface mount applications. It operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. The device supports essential BORSCHT functions and is ideal for short- to medium-loop applications, offering ultra-low power consumption and simplified configuration.
