The Si1143-AAGX-GMR from Silicon Labs is a low-power, reflectance-based optical heart rate sensor module. It features an integrated 525 nm green LED, two additional LED driver outputs, and an I2C digital interface. This module includes an analog-to-digital converter, high-sensitivity photodiodes, and three integrated LED drivers with selectable drive levels.
Designed for applications such as fitness bands, smartwatches, and other wearables, the Si1143-AAGX-GMR offers excellent performance across a wide dynamic range and various light sources from 525 nm to 940 nm. It supports a supply voltage range of 1.71V to 3.6V and operates within a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
The module is provided in a 10-lead 4.9x2.85x1.2 mm QFN package and is designed for surface mounting. Its low power consumption, with a standby current of less than 500 nA, makes it suitable for battery-powered devices. The I2C interface supports data rates up to 3.4 Mbps.
