The Sensirion AG SHTW1 is a digital humidity and temperature sensor IC designed for applications with tight space constraints. It utilizes Sensirion's CMOSens® technology, integrating a capacitive humidity sensor and a bandgap temperature sensor on a single chip.
This sensor operates at a supply voltage of 1.62V to 1.98V and communicates via an I2C interface. It offers a humidity measurement range of 0 to 100% RH with a typical accuracy of ±3% RH, and a temperature measurement range of -40°C to 125°C with a typical accuracy of ±0.4°C. The power-up and measurement process is completed within 1 ms, making it suitable for low-power applications.
The SHTW1 is housed in an ultra-small WLCSP (Wafer-Level Chip-Scale Package) measuring 1.3 x 0.7 x 0.5 mm³, making it ideal for high-volume consumer electronics. It is fully calibrated and reflow solderable, designed for standard SMD assembly processes.
