The Sensirion AG SHT21S is a fully calibrated humidity and temperature sensor IC featuring a generation 4C CMOSens® chip. It integrates a capacitive relative humidity sensor and a band gap temperature sensor, providing calibrated and linearized signals in an analog Sigma Delta Modulated (SDM) format. This sensor is designed for excellent long-term stability and low power consumption.
The SHT21S operates within a voltage range of 2.1V to 3.6V and an extended temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. It offers a humidity measurement range of 0 to 100% RH with an accuracy tolerance of ±2% RH and a response time of 8 seconds. The sensor's output is 12-bit resolution via the SDM interface.
Packaged in a reflow solderable 6-DFN (3x3mm) footprint, the SHT21S is designed for surface mounting. The sensor's housing consists of a plated Cu lead-frame and green epoxy-based mold compound. It is fully RoHS and WEEE compliant, free of Pb, Cd, and Hg.
