SGM8904YMS10G/TR

The SGM8904 from SG Micro Corp is a capless stereo line driver designed for single-supply applications, offering a 2Vrms to 3Vrms output voltage. Its capless design eliminates the need for output DC-blocking capacitors, reducing component count and cost while maintaining a flat frequency response. The device features differential inputs and can drive up to 3Vrms into a 2.5kΩ load with a 5V supply. The adjustable gain, settable from ±1V/V to ±10V/V via external resistors, also allows for the implementation of a 2nd-order low-pass filter.

With a supply voltage range of 3V to 5.5V, the SGM8904 boasts low noise and low THD+N characteristics, including a typical SNR of 114dB and THD+N of 0.001% at 1kHz. It operates within an ambient temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and is available in a Green MSOP-10 package. The integrated charge pump generates a negative power rail for a clean, pop/click-free ground offset, and a built-in shutdown control further enhances pop/click-free on/off transitions.

Applications for the SGM8904 include LCD TVs, set-top boxes, home theaters, and Blu-ray DVD players. The SGM8904YMS10G/TR variant is supplied in a tape and reel format with a standard package quantity of 4000 units.
