The SGM42600XTQE16G/TR by SG Micro Corp is a dual H-bridge motor driver designed to control one bipolar stepper motor or two DC brush motors. It operates over a wide power supply voltage range of 2.7V to 24V.
Each H-bridge within the SGM42600 is constructed with four N-MOSFETs. The device can provide up to 1.5A RMS or 2A peak output current per H-bridge under specified conditions. It features a low on-resistance of 0.41Ω for HS + LS at +25℃.
Internal protection mechanisms include over-current protection (OCP), power supply under-voltage lockout (UVLO), charge pump under-voltage lockout (CPUV), and over-temperature protection (OTP). A dedicated nFAULT pin indicates fault conditions. The device supports a sleep mode for power saving.
