The SGM4073YG/TR by SG Micro Corp functions as both a reset timer and a load management switch, suitable for highly integrated applications. It supports a supply voltage range of 1.5V to 5.5V and features a low quiescent current of 1µA (TYP), enabling direct interface with low-voltage chipsets and maintaining low power consumption.
As a load management switch, it can disconnect loads with high shutdown current and high load capacitance (< 200µF) powered by a supply voltage lower than 6V. The device provides a low 20mΩ (TYP) on-resistance at 3.6V VBAT. It also offers features like output capacitor discharge during the reset period and slew rate or inrush control with a typical tR of 3ms.
When used as a reset timer, it provides a fixed delay time of 7.7s, which can be adjusted using an external resistor. Other factory-set parameters include a reset pulse of 468ms, a turn-on time of 1.9s, and a turn-off delay of 7.7s.
The SGM4073YG/TR is available in a compact WLCSP-1.31×1.62-12B package and operates within an ambient temperature range of -40℃ to +85℃. Applications include computers, battery-powered portable equipment, and storage equipment.
