The SGM2578YG/TR from SG Micro Corp is a single-channel power distribution switch designed for low input voltage applications. It operates across a wide supply voltage range of 1V to 5V and is controlled via an EN pin, making it suitable for USB power distribution.
This load switch integrates a 54mΩ N-MOSFET, offering low ON-resistance at various input voltages. Key electrical specifications include a continuous switch current of up to 1A (MAX) at VIN ≥ 1.2V, and a reduced current capability of 600mA at VIN = 1.0V. It also features a low quiescent current of 5µA (TYP) and a shutdown current of less than 1.5µA.
