The SGM2036-ADJYN5G/TR from SG Micro Corp is a versatile low dropout linear regulator designed for low power applications. It operates with an input voltage range of 1.6V to 5.5V and can deliver a guaranteed output current of 300mA.
This adjustable output version allows for precise voltage setting from 0.8V to 5.0V using external resistors. Key electrical characteristics include a typical dropout voltage of 165mV at 300mA, a low quiescent current of 20µA, and a very low shutdown current of 0.01µA. The output voltage accuracy is ±2.5% at +25℃.
Additional features include logic-controlled shutdown, short-circuit current limit, and thermal shutdown protection. The regulator also incorporates an automatic discharge function for quick VOUT discharge when disabled. It operates reliably within a temperature range of -40℃ to +85℃.
