The SGL8022W is a capacitive touch sensor integrated circuit designed for single-channel touch input applications. It operates over a wide voltage range of 2.4V to 5.5V and features a 4MHz operating frequency. The device includes one touch input channel (Tl) and two option input channels (OP1/OP2) for configuration, with a single control output (SO) that provides a 20kHz PWM signal. The SGL8022W offers high sensitivity, capable of penetrating up to 10mm of glass or acrylic, and exhibits high interference resistance with EFT ratings exceeding ±2kV. In standby mode, the current consumption is below 10µA, making it suitable for battery-powered applications. The IC is designed for use in touch control interfaces, such as touch switches, dimmers, and proximity sensors.
